Steven will be traveling to the National Cancer Institute (of the NIH) in Maryland next week because his severe muscle spasms and pains have been challenging to cure. Muscle and joint pain is not uncommon for cancer survivors who have undergone chemotherapy. The question that needs to be addressed in Steven’s case is: Is it post-chemotherapy related or cGVHD (chronic graft versus host disease)? Time will tell.
